Instructions for Use:

  1. Wash before first use:

    • Perform an initial wash to ensure hygiene. Wash by hand or machine with cold water (maximum 30°C) and mild soap.

  2. Placement:

    • Place the pad on the inside of your underwear with the soft cream-colored layer facing your skin.
    • Wrap the wings around the bottom of your underwear and secure them with the snap buttons. The patterned side should face your underwear.

  3. Use during the night:

    • Change the pad as necessary, depending on your flow. Typically, this provides up to 12 hours of protection for heavy flow nights.

  4. Temporary storage:

    • If you're out, fold the pad into thirds with the stained side inward and secure it. Store the folded pad in a waterproof pouch or fabric bag until it can be washed.

  5. Post-use washing:

    • Rinse the pad with cold water immediately after removing it to prevent blood from setting.
    • Soak for 30 minutes in a basin with cold water and a few drops of tea tree essential oil to enhance cleaning and disinfection.
    • Wash by hand or machine with neutral soap. Avoid hot water (above 30°C), bleach, softeners, or perfumes as they can damage the waterproof fabric.

  6. Drying:

    • Air dry, preferably under the sun, which helps eliminate stains and bacteria. Avoid tumble drying or ironing.

  7. Storage until next use:

    • Once dry, store unfolded in a clean space, like a pouch or box, to avoid dust or dirt accumulation.

If you have a light flow or are in the final days of your period, this option is for you. Ideal for prevention or for the last days of your period when you don't need much absorption.

How to wash your period underwear?

Wash and dry your period underwear properly to extend its lifespan and maintain its effectiveness.

 Properly washing and drying your period underwear

Step 1 - Rinse and soak

Rinse them under the tap. This is usually enough before washing them. If there are stubborn stains, soak them in cold water for 30 minutes. Use neutral soap and baking soda if necessary to remove them completely.

Step 2 - Washing

Wash them by hand or in the washing machine at under 30°C. Do not use fabric softener, as it may reduce their absorbency.

Step 3 - Air drying

Lay them out and hang them outdoors or indoors away from heat sources. If possible, dry them in the sun, as sunlight is an excellent natural disinfectant, but do not leave them exposed for too long.

IMPORTANT

Do not use a tumble dryer. Heat can damage the absorbent properties of your underwear. If necessary, use a low temperature.
